Our story begins in 2006 when Uloyiso Ngavu, Victor Dube and Tony Ramaphosa started a business magazine having spotted an opportunity to be the first full colour magazine in the transport market. Using the then new power of DTP, Jozi Media was born, and over one decade the company has navigated new technologies and several recessions, moving from a paper-based magazine business to a truly multi-media organisation with interests in data, events, online and video. We now target the transport, construction, asset management and technology sectors, with many market leading brands.

Jozi Media has always worked hard to provide our community and clients with the very best service and value, and this approach has seen many of the same clients still partnering with us 10 years on. We thank our staff, clients and readers, and look forward to the next 10 years.

As magazine publishers, writing content to a deadline is something we thrive on! The world of publishing is fast-paced and we understand that a print deadline has to be met. Our in-house Editors can write features, captions, articles, biographies, reports, interviews, Q&As, headlines etc.

We also provide a full copy writing and subbing service for any content we provide and we’re equally happy to sub supplied content.

Putting together a monthly magazine, weekly magazine, newspaper, supplement, brochure, book, catalogue, show guide etc is a walk in the park for us and we are happy to work with you to ensure your published product is to delivered to spec and on time.


The events team at Jozi Media prides itself on organising and running big corporate events and small business launch and networking events.

Awards events have previously been held at various venues in and around South Africa, such as South African Construction Awards, ICT Awards and South African Property Awards. Each event has been organised for 400 guests and has included a 3-course luncheon and awards presentation.

Our in-house team can have as much or as little input to your event depending on your requirements. We can source venues, suggest and work with booking agents to secure celebrity hosts, offer sponsorship packages and suggest menus. We also offer lots of outside-the-box ideas to ensure your event is unique.

Aside from the big events, we run business-networking events for smaller groups of 30 to 100 guests. For previous events we have used the Tsogo Sun hotel group, who provide outstanding venues. For these events we introduced a new concept of ‘live networking’, which offers 15 minute speed networking sessions with like-minded piers to offer an exciting networking experience.

The senior events team, has expertise in organise conferences and seminar programmes and can deliver a format and schedule to suit your needs.
